In 2016 MHI Vestas Offshore Wind appointed me as their preferred still photographer on an extraordinary assignment which involved the aerial photography of sixteen offshore wind installations situated around UK, Benelux, Denmark, and Sweden
The aim of the project was to help to establish an AssetBank, which was designed to showcase all aspects of the company's operations, including their impressive track record of offshore installations. Images were to adhere to their CVI, which aims to showcase the 'beautiful dark side' of offshore wind.
Final deliverables included a wide variety of both aesthetically, and technically-motivated images which have been widely utilised in marketing materials, website, and branding of their headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark, as well as trade-show installations.
The project was executed in cooperation with Blackbird Film and HD-Skycam who were tasked with capturing video footage of the installations.
